To meet OSHA*, ANSI requirements and to remove some legal/insurance issues that may
arise, it is required to use at minimum wheel chocks anytime loading equipment
is used at the dock to load/unload vehicles. However, with the high overall cost
of wheel chocks and their effectiveness low, we recommend OSHA accepted alternative
to wheel chocks, the mechanical means of securing trucks in position to the dock. We
recommend for your consideration the leading technology from Rol-Lift in manual
restraints or powered push button activated restraints for employees safety and
providing your company a modern safe dock.
